Young people aged 16 to 25 can find themselves homeless through no fault of their own. Young people experience extreme changes in their lives, such as changes in home, school, jobs, friends, and feel unstable about their unknown future ahead, as they grow out of childhood and into adulthood.
1625ip is a charity that works with young people who are homeless, leaving care or at risk of homelessness in Bristol and the South West. As well as providing safe, stable accommodation, we provide practical and emotional support to ensure vulnerable young people can establish healthy, fulfilling independent lives.
We run hostels, houses and flats that are affordable and accessible, with everyone allocated with a trusted key worker to support the young person to progress towards a successful, independent life.
We offer a number of specialist projects and services to support young people to gain skills and confidence, which includes their ambitions in education, employment and training and ensuring these are sustained in the future.
We nurture the existing skills, strengths and talent in young people, to show them that they can believe in themselves, and that they have the skills to apply themselves to future opportunities
